Alexandra B. Ribeiro, Eduardo P. Mateus, Nazaré Couto, Paula Guedes and Joana Almeida joined to the 10^th PROMETIA Scientific Seminar at Hotel HF Fénix, Lisbon, 28-30 November. The RELiEF project’s role in lithium recovery from secondary raw materials was presented by Joana Almeida, during the session of innovative R&D projects for critical raw materials production. The event was co-organized and co-chaired by Alexandra B. Ribeiro, Vice-President of PROMETIA.

Joana Almeida participated in the 6^th International Conference WASTES: Solutions, treatments and opportunities, WASTES2023, 6-8 September 2023, Coimbra, Portugal. The oral communication “ Electrodialytic recovery of lithium from mine residues coupling oxalic acid”, authored by Joana Almeida, Carolina Pires and Alexandra B. Ribeiro, was presented.

RELiEF 1st General Assembly took place at FCT NOVA, with a visit to RESOLUTION Lab, last 29-30 June 2023.

Alexandra B. Ribeiro and Joana Almeida participated in the 10^th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management, CHANIA2023, 21-24 June 2023, Chania, Crete Island, Greece. They presented the oral communications:

• “Assessment of the ultrasound assisted electrodialytic separation of cobalt from tungsten carbide scrap powder”, authored by Paula Guedes, Eduardo P. Mateus, Akram N. Alshawabkeh and Alexandra B. Ribeiro
• “Electrodialytic recovery of lithium from secondary mining resources with lepidolite”, authored by Joana Almeida, Carolina Pires and Alexandra B. Ribeiro.
